Okay, I made a careless mistake with spelling. However, a simple spelling error is not nearly as pathetic as all the numerous shortcuts that many lazy people use. Forgive me for my error.

I use proper punctuation. I had a 104 average in my Business Grammar class in college. :D Not that this question is about grammar, but they are sort of related, in a way. One goes with the other, I think.

I have to use proper spelling and punctuation as I spend a good part of my day as a legal secretary typing and proofreading documents that will be filed with the court.

I hate to see people (kids, I assume) abbreviate everything. Is it REALLY that difficult to type "to" instead of "2"? That's only one extra character for crying out loud! I think in most cases they write this way to be cool, but in all reality, it does nothing more than show how ignorant and immature they are.

I hear ya. I always double-check my spelling and grammar and punctuation, but every once in a while something comes through that I wasn't aware of.

Your forgiven! (even though I didn't see the mistake) And I agree, there are so many horribly spelled questions.

I agree, sometimes especially when you're a fast typer, it's easy to mix up letters or leave one out. But all these teenie boppers who are typing like "omg u are so hawt" .. that gets on my nerves.

You're forgiven. ;)

I agree with you about all the texting format I've seen here. We're given days to write and plenty of room... what's the rush?
