i have a young child at home and i want to restrict the sites that she can go on, I want to know how you block the sites with extreme porn.

go to the TOOL menu and choose "internet options" and then clik on the content tab and an enable button will be there and set the level like kiss sex violance.

Easy, tell your brother that your going to kill him if he doesn't lay off the porn sites. You can increase the security settings on your computer to block the porn sites and there are parental control settings that will restrict his access but he will probably figure a way around them. The best way to keep him off of the porn sites is to make sure he understands that it is in his own best interest to do so.

you can install a porn filter software like NetDog on the computer,that help you to block all porn sites quitely in the background when he's surfing on the internet. http://www.netdogsoft.com

there is lot of software on the net. net nanny etc. but remember parental supervision is essential. Kids soon figure out ways to cheat even the most sophisticated software. I could give some 2 second ways to beat even award winning nanny programs but kids would read these answers too.

Contact your internet service provider and have them instruct you on how to do that, but most likely they will do it for you. Just like you control your cable tv channels.
