Well, if you and your mother are truly concerned, go see a doctor. He/She can tell you for sure. Don't worry if you haven't started or if that's all there is to this first one. It's normal. Your body will take a little while to regulate itself. Keep track of the day you start each month incase there are irrgularities. It's a good thing to do every time you have a cycle.

I'm not sure, but it may possibly be your period. When i got my period i only had a speck of blood in my underwear (which also leaked through my white pants....LOL) and i didn't see anything for a while. just wait a few more days and see what happens. If it is your period it will show up again next month...

I think you will get your period soon. 13 is about average I'd say, although I was only 9!! Don't rush it! It's no fun! Don't be afraid either. Everyone goes through it. It means your growing up and becoming a woman. Make sure you have someone to talk to about everything so you have all the answers and can protect yourself.

welll ok we all girls/women go through it at a younge age...one of my good friends was 13 when she got her period...I was 10 when I got mine...it started out like yours...when you get your period...use what your mom uses...pads...when you get a little older about my age...im gonna be 18 next november...u can use tampons...but that is your choice. Nothing to freak out about...your mom will show you what you can do. Make sure you change your pad/tampon every 6-8 hours or until full or blood b 4 then.

Relax. Have your mom buy you some sanitary napkins just incase carry them in a purse with you. If it was not the start of your period it will probably be starting soon.

It seems abnormal to have not started your period by the time you're 13, but it isn't. People are starting younger and younger these days because we are exposed to so many hormones in our foods. Don't worry, you're not wierd.

you'd still be bleeding sweetie if you were starting your period BUT I would make sure you're mom and g-ma has explained everything to you, as in what to expect, and have supplies on hand for you just in case. Good luck.

Sounds like your period is coming on. I got mine when I 14 in September and then I didn't get it again til NOv. So to me it sounds like the start of it.
Congrats!

It could be your first one. My first period was REALLY light. Then it got sooooooo heavy and painful and now that I am an adult woman it's regular and really short, thank God.
I remember crying and crying and my mom telling me to be happy because it means that I can give life and that's the most amazing thing on Earth.
It's probably your period. :-) Welcome to puberty. It's gonna suck!!!!! It will be over before you know it, though.

If you have a doctor, you should probably go see one. It could mean that your period is starting, but it could mean something else. So to be sure, you should visit your doctor.
