Yes it should.
1.An eye for an eye. If a grown man rapes and beats a child to death, then he should have a bigger man do the same thing to him.
2. It would set an example for other criminals. If they know they were going to die, then maybe there would be less crime.
3.If it was used all around the world, then you couldnt run to another country, commit the crime, and expect to get off with a lesser punishment.

No Reason #1 there have been case where the wrong person has been sentenced to death. After the sentence is carried out its. too late and too bad for them. #2 it makes us no better than the person being executed. #3 the death penalty does not stop people from committing capital crimes If it did those areas that have it would not have any murders Such is not the case so as a deterrent it is not effective. A much better punishment would be life with no possible parole at hard labor. any money made bey the inmate sentenced to this would go to pay for his incarceration and for the support of his victim's family

The death penalty is a really bad idea no matter where it is used.
1 - When you get it wrong, everyone in society is responsible as the killing is being done in our name. Not to mention the fact that there is no justice for the person who has been killed.
2 - It's no deterrent. Criminals don't believe they will get caught. Certain states in the US have the death penalty yet still have a high homicide rates than Europe, who have outlawed the use of it.
3 - Killing another human being is wrong. Most theologies have this as a major tennent.
I hope I've answered you question adequately.

Yes, but I don't see that happening!
#1) Biblical principal
#2) It makes poeple think twice about commiting a crime
#3) The argument that it is "cruel and unusual punisment" is abusrd--our founding fathers obviously didn't believe this and look how much worse off the US has gotten as we've grown more tolerant and lenient!
Everyone should have a fair and speedy trial, but if convicted, and no mental problems are discovered, I don't think it is unjust.

No.
1.) It is not a deterrent since most capitol offenses are crimes of passion.
2.) It has been used wrongly in that people tried, convicted, and executed by the state have later been proved innocent of the crime.
3.) It is barbaric, and unbecoming of civilized people; it is not a reflection of our religious traditions even if others say it is.
4.) It does not bring the victim back to life.

No. Texas executes far more people than all other states combined yet Dallas, Houston & San Antonio always rank near the top nationwide in crime and murders.

- What you rather keep them feed & comfortable for the rest of their lives at our expence?
- They really cant be reformed to reenter society.
- Should they be sent to some island isolated & live like animals (that they are in society), fending for themselves?

What are you thinking? There is no way to put that in place, there are so many society's who are for and against the idea, if one country can't agree on it how do you expect all the others to.

all sex predators should be executed because #1 they ALWAYS repeat offend (sometimes they just dont' get caught) #2 the prisons are overcrowded with sickos's and costing billions of dollars #3 violent crime would go down with people knowing they would die if they do something horrible instead of relax in prison

Yes, and no. Some of the criminals are innocent, and just because they were found at the scene, they are immediately convicted of the crime.
