You need to eat a balanced diet with high micro-nutrients: Protein is a HUGE factor in the balance because of the way you burn off the calories so quickly. If you are training now, you need to eat at least 5 times a day. Protein Carbohydrate and Fats...Make it Fish , Lean Red Meats, Chicken, Turkey, GREEN FOODS....especially important for the potassium and magnesium content is SPINACH... for the FAT get into OLIVE OIL ...and never ever forget to eat EGGS.... A real trainee needs "perfect foods" because you will burn straight through the calories you need the nutrients to go straight to the cells and feed em.... YOUR caloric INTAKE should be around 4,000 calories a day at least....Look into getting up before your first swimming workout and do a Protein Shake with Whey ....add in your back pack for right after the workout a HEFTY Protein EGG . Cheese on Whole Grain Muffin buttered with SPINACH AND SPROUTS..... Make sure you get enough of your caloric intake before you start burning out all your energy...YOU do need to GAIN MUSCLE VOLUME or the competition will get cha....(STAY AWAY FROM Partially Hydrogenated OILS and ASPARTAME completely....check it out on the web....)

GOOD LUCK

Where are you gonna swim?

If you are 129, my recomendation would be to go to the gym and build some muscle! eat lots of protein and carbs.. but as long as you dont eat junk food all day you'll be fine

Swimming is such good excersise that you can go into the "seafood" diet.. and whatever food you see.. you eat

Protein and lots of water. Being super skinny is ok in HS, but you're gonna need more muscle to compete against college guys, so yeah, lots of meat, lots of cheese, lots of milk. Eat a LOT. As long as you continue to work out, your metabolism should burn most of it off.
