Yes! I have used it on all my kids, just make sure to use the "light" Karo syrup vs the "dark", you dont have to always add it the formula though; if your child uses a pacifyer you can dab a little on that as well. Just dont use to much cause not only does it really work but much can cause a little diarreah, an often times a VERY sticky baby!!

When both my boys would get constipated, I'd put 2 tablespoons DARK Karo (corn) syrup in a bottle with 2 ounces water.

You should only do that under the reccomendation and supervision of your son's pediatrician. It does work, but it could work too well. Half 100% apple juice, and half water, it worked for my son. At least try that first, cause corn syrup like I said may work too well.

For those out there that have never heard of it, what time are you living in? That has been used since my mom was a kid! It works well. I used on both of my kids and yes, it does work. Just be careful not to use too much. Sometimes it takes a few tries though.

Why don't you ask you Pediatrician. Corn syrup sound so wrong. You do not know how it will affect your baby. I am sure you will be giving ur baby plenty of sugar in the future so why start him or her so young.

How lengthy has she been constipated for? children can bypass quite a lot a week without a bowel move. I have heard that the darkish colored Karo corn syrup is sturdy for constipation, only a tiny bit. sturdy success.

It's good for a sugar rush. If you are having problems with bm's, you should talk to his doctor. You may need to change his formula or give him a mild laxative, like Children's Castoria.
