He claims that our country needs to respect "morals", but that is so subjective it's not even funny. Everyone has different morals. Personally, my morals say that potentially saving millions of lives is worth the use of one aborted baby. Feel free to yell at me, conservatives, but I'm radically pro-choice. Our country isn't Christian. Religion created these lame, so-called 'morals', and President Bush expects our whole country to follow them. It seems to me as though President Bush is defying everything that our country was founded on-- the freedom of practicing whatever religion-- if any, that you want. I mean, if the conservatives are so against it, then fine-- but I'm sure that they would be the firsts in line to get the medicine or treatments that are discovered using stem-cell research. I think that our country needs to realize what 'morals' are, and figure out that we don't need to 'respect' them if we don't believe in what they were founded on.
In conclusion, I dislike Bush.

I'm proud of him for standing up and doing the right thing. Did you vote in the last election? Are you politically active?

No, I wasn't old enough to vote in the last election. I'm only 17 right now. I'm definitley going to vote next election, I've already viewed and researched all of the potential candidates.
How is stopping stem-cell research 'the right thing'? Religion isn't everything, lady.

Ugh, did I post this question in "Religion and Spirituality" by accident? It might as well be posted in "Pathetic, Misinformed Holy Rollers".

I hate bush. He has no morals anyway!
I am for stem research but I mean they should use aborted fetuses so they don't go to 'waste' I mean, If I was a litte fetus that my mother didn't want, then I would be quite happy to be used to save lives. What about all those kids that are alive now that would benefit from stem cells to actually live?
Religon....that is another argument altogether. Sure, believe what you will but don't use it as country 'rules' and 'morals'. I am sick of that word 'freedom'.

George Bush vetoed federal funding for embryonic stem cellular analyze as a results of the indisputable fact that is inaccurate. Being in politics calls for understanding the adaptation between accurate and incorrect, and for the reason that 2/3 of congress of route don't have this perception, Mr. Bush had to step ahead. unwell admit, he's done issues i do not approve of interior the previous, yet each baby-kisser has. notwithstanding,l Mr. Bush is amazingly on a challenge for God, that is why he would not supply a damn about his approval score. (He would not might want to be stricken about yet another election in any case)

I am against the U.S. Government spending money on stem cell research because it is a pathetic inefficient bureaucracy. Just because Hollywood put a face in front of the cause doesn't mean that it more deserving of Federal funding. This should be left up to the private sector.

Politicians make bad investors because it's not their money.

no.

killing babies in order to get those stem cells is wrong and ignorant. that is, afterall, where those stem cells would come from.

so tell me......libs.......why do we have to kill more babies to get these cells? why can't we use stem cells from ADULTS or from the UMBILICAL CORD?!?

fact: embryonic stem cell research has not conducted a single clinical test while adult and umbilical stem cells have been involved in THOUSANDS of clinical tests. why don't we continue down the established path that has PROVEN possibilities? embyonic stem cell research is just a THEORY at this point.

all this is is another attempt by libs to justify the murder of innocent babies disguised in the name of science. this act is weak and played out.
