My friend has talked to her several times. I tried talking her out of it, telling her people think it's disgusting, ugly, and would make her very unattractive.

She says: "but that doesnt really stop me", "i dont really care what people think"

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, surface piercings have a VERY low success rate. If you put them on a body part with a lot of movement and friction, such as the hips, wrist, ankle, then you have lowered the chances of healing the piercing to almost nil.

Keep in mind too that surface piercings are usually seen as temporary since keeping them a few months seems to be a "long time." She also needs to think about pants, shirts, belts, and panties irritating the piercings.

Who cares if people don't think they are pretty? She likes them and they would make her feel good so let her have at it if she wishes.

If she is under 18 I can almost promise that 99% of reputable piercers will refuse to do surface work on her.

Do you mean lips?
Either way. Your friend want to do something and it's her body so it's her choice. You shouldn't convince her other wise. Of course as a friend you are free to give your two sense but just because you don't like it does not mean she can't get it. If she has enough confidance ( not to mention lack of fear ) to get the piercing then let her be.
Be a good friend and do the right thing. Don't bring her down because of her choices.

possibly you want to look after someone and not in any respect have a female friend who's so "self reliant". or maybe you in basic terms have fallen in love with a ladies who isn't your "accepted" variety. it isn't any enormous deal. i imagine each human being has a "primary" variety they prefer or are extra fascinated in, yet often times someone comes alongside and also you're so captivated by their personality or particular effective aspects (smile, eyes...the homestead windows to the soul!) that it would not count number what they appear to be! the alternative is authentic, too. you'll locate someone so beautiful and engaging, yet get to carry close them and how they're, they're personality and in the journey that they are gruesome on the interior, they develop into un-beautiful to you. (it is surpassed off to me...absolutely everyone else?) one aspect's for particular. once you've emotions on your girlfriends perfect buddy, you want to break-up which include her and stay remote from her buddy until eventually you sort your emotions out! sturdy success!

I have never heard of a hip piercing. That is so weird. But if she ends up doing it, and then realizes you were right, at least you'll know you tried to warn her!

She's just doing it for attention and if he talks her out of it, she'll find a new way of getting attention. Sounds like a pattern she has. Find out if she self- mutilates like cutting or burning herself. I've seen people do this before and it's always because they're depressed, etc. and trying extreme measures to get out of whatever rut they think their so-called conventional life is in.

Dude, let her do it. She'll realize soon enough that it's stupid. She's just trying to do something different. I've never heard of piercing such a thing. What will they think of next?!

i dont regret it at all.

OK...I'm laughing right now, do U mean her lips, if thats the case let her do what she wants to do. It's her choice. If U do mean her hips, can you please explain to me what that would look like.

Let her do it, if she finds that she doesn't like it all she has to do is remove the jewlry and they'll close up and leave a small scar. It's that simple...
