I too was breech with my son up till 5 weeks before he was due. Of course in my case I needed a emergency c-section for other reasons. But I was told by my ob/gyn that sex can irritate the baby enough to want to turn, pelvic tilts work as well. Gravity from the tilt causes the baby to move back into the uterus more and out of the pelvis. All else fails see if your ob/gyn will try to turn the baby for you if you and the ob/gyn is concerned. A c-section is not all bad, I preferred the aftercare better actually. Good luck.

I saw on TV the other day that there are some chiropractors who work on pregnant women and have a technique for this. If the baby hasn't turned on her own by 38 weeks or so it may be worth looking into.
By the way, I have had 3 c-sections, the first 2 were emergency and the last one was planned as I just can't have a normal delivery. They aren't that bad. All of my children were born at night and I was up the next morning in the shower. I am not saying they are great, but don't worry if it turns out you have to have one. At least the baby is born, and that is what is important. The how really doesn't matter.

With my first I found out he was breech at 34 weeks and was told that I was too small and had to little amniotic fluid around him to turn him so they scheduled a c-section and that's how he was born at 38 weeks, still backwards :)
I am now 34 weeks with my second child and the Dr says she is definitely head-down (thank goodness!) and probably doesn't have room to flip over again at this point. SO...it just depends on your body and your baby, so good luck!

There is still time for the baby to turn around. Don't stress yourself out. That only makes things worse. I didn't have a c-section but the doctors were trying to scheduel one. I was horrified. I've heard the C-sections are easier to bounce back from (baby tummy). My baby is 5 and I'm still trying to get back to my normal size.

My third child was turned just fine, up until week 37. At that week's checkup, she was breech. My daughter then began discussing "turning her" if she didn't on her own. This was scary, but he said she could turn on her own all the way up until it was time to deliver. Sure enough..when I went in the next week, she had turned...I delivered a few days later.

Unborn babies move all the time. If she does not turn, the doctor can turn her when the time comes, but it is very painful. Most of the time if the baby don't turn, the doctor might talk to u about consedering a C-Section.
