Seriously, God created women so that men should have helpmeets (helpmates). That's in Genesis.

Adam was lonely, and he asked god for a companion. GOd said that he would make for him the perfect mate, Beautiful, Sexy, Honest, Faithful, Obedient, and a good cook. Adam was pleased, until God told him it would cost him an arm and a leg.
Adam thought for a moment and then asked:
"Well, what can I get for just a rib?"

Because man couldn't handle the pain of child birth! Can you imagine having a child come through that little hole? He figured out that men were not perfect and could not take care of themselves, so he made women, so we could show men how to do it right.
