it depends on what type of songs you are gonna do... if you are going to rap about selling drugs and shooting people your name should have "Thug" in it. If you are going to do conscious rap like common or talib kweli your name should be something mystical, arabic, or nonsensical. If you dont know what you want to rap about just call yourself "Young" something.

Start with your name. The first letter. Take mine, G.
so I could go: Lil' G or G.E etc... Then take you Middle or last name. Use the First letter w/ The First part of the name you created. So M. There's: Man or MC or go Mc(Name)
Put these together for: Lil' G Man or G.E Mc etc... Or try what rymes with you last name. For me it would be Dirt McGirt or McGirt the Flurt etc...
