When you change from yahoo to mozilla firefox are all your yahoo favorites wiped out or is there someplace ???

Yahoo is a Portal, Firefox is a Browser, so your question really doesn't make sense. Yahoo does not have anything to do with the storing of web favorites. If you were using another browser before Firefox, Internet Explorer perhaps, then you have to use Windows Explorer to locate them from within the C:/Documents and Settings/username/Favorites directory. Once you have done that then you can use the Import tool from the File menu in Firefox to bring them into that browser. Got it? Easy stuff and Firefox is lots better as I'm sure you've found out.
