Only a doctor can tell you what is causing the pain. So call an OB and make an appointment. They will tell you what you can expect.

I will tell you what my midwife told me when I asked her if something was normal......In pregnancy anything is normal. As long as you are not bleeding or have an extreme pain then you are mostly likely fine. I can only tell you what I know, and of course your doctor will know better then anyone who answers this question. Anyway I believe you are fine and check with your doctor to be sure.

just muscles and tendons being pulled. Before you are done some will feel like they are on fire when you pull them (getting up, rolling over, etc.). But just to make sure next time you see your Dr. mention it to him/her just to give you peace of mind. A great book to get if you don't have one already is "What to Expect When You Are Expecting". Will really give you a lot of information and help you know what is going on with your body.

It is the muscles in your uterus and the muscles in your stomach stretching to make accomidations for the growing fetus. But to be on the safe side, i would at least call my OB/GYN.

yup - pains like that are normal. My wife (who is due tomorrow) had them. Like the other person said, get it checked out for your peace of mind if nothing else. Congrats.
