I let them out after I read in an Agatha Christie book about the Koh-i-Noor that ur brain could burst if u suppress it.Always say ALHAMDOLILLAH(Thank God) when u sneeze and YARHAKOMULLAH when u hear someone else sneeze.That's the Muslim practice and even if ur not a Muslim,perhaps u'll get some virtues for it by Allah(God),

I've always heard it was bad for you to suppress a sneeze. Has something to do with tiny blood vessels in your head.

Generally I let them out because a sneeze is your body's way of clearing your upper airway of some irritant.Of course there are always exceptions like at a funeral or wedding where I wil try and hold it inside.

I let them out in as quiet a manner as possible. I know some guys who think they cannot sneeze quietly. I'm not saying *silent* so you feel your head will explode...but at least something that doesn't startle your neighbors! oh and cover that mouth and nose please...don't vocalize or engage your vocal chords as much while sneezing and it will be less loud.

let it out...especially if a tissue is nearby. But i heard if you say grapefruit or cow before you sneeze, you won't. But gosh, i don't want to pollute the air! =P

no dont do that, if you are sneezing its because your body is trying to get something out of your nose and that may tell you your body is trying to get rid of something harmful for it.

They say that when you sneeze one looses one heartbeat but who knows.
