Not soon enough, the next election is a midterm election which means that 1/3 the Senate and the entire House will be up for reelection only. Those not reelected become "lame ducks" which means they continue to hold the office, and the power, but they don't have the people's confidence. That way they can make unpopular decisions without having to worry about the consequences. Which is why a lot of Presidents pardon criminals that got to sever a sentence, or for some other reason, after November. It is also why his improvement ratings don’t worry him too much. He can’t be removed from office until after the presidential election or if he commits a crime. And while it may seem to be a crime to be in Iraq, it is not a legal crime.

The new election will be held in 2 years after this month’s election. Then Bush will serve until the January Inauguration; therefore 2 years, 5 months and counting.

Not a minute too soon!

On January 20, 2009 the nation will have cause to celebrate as the most evil, corrupt, incompetent President in American history finally is removed from office. BUT.......

There are other possibilities, none of which are pleasant:

1. Bush could have a nervous breakdown and go into an irreversible coma, which would make CHENEY President;

2. Bush could be impeached for high treason and crimes against humanity;

3. Bush could invent another 'terrorist' attack just prior to the elections, and then declare martial law, claiming that a change in administrations would not be in the interests of national security;

4. Bush could be assassinated;

5. Bush could go back to the booze and get so drunk that he'd end up having oral sex with a White House intern, and he'd have to leave Washington in disgrace;

6. Bush could overdose on cocaine, his apparent drug of choice.

The truth of it is, is he don't have to stay anylonger than we let him.
Our forefathers devised a plan a long time ago to get rid of tyrants. Its called A REVOLUTION PEOPLE!
Their wisdom gave us all a way out of Tyranicle regiegms. THE CONSTITUTION! Thomas Jefferson once said that a government should be overthrown every 20 years.
All the debating, and all the finger poiunting doesn't do a damn thing. We got to get off our asses and do something about it. Remember that paper that starts with "WE the People" still means something.
History has shown us the way, yet we try to debate it. Don't run from it, embrace it, and stop being a bunch of ******* getting led around by our short and curlys. Them bastards NEED to remember who put them there and why.
All the bitchin, whining, and complaning doesn't do squat.
Our grandparents, knew how to get a job done. And if it weren't for them, we'de all be speaking German!

just as soon as he gets enough brain cells accumulated to find his way out the door. But since that may never happen, it could come down to the new President's people having to remove him physically.

Aside from that thought, he cannot get out of office soon enough.
