i watched a few world cup matches and it is just flat out boring to me.

Don't get rid of it, just keep it in those backwards countries where it is a fast paced game for them. I equate it to watching grass grow......

The whole point of the off-side rule is to make sure that there isn't an advantage. Without it, it would probably end up like a big grassy game of volleyball. Half of each team would be up either end of the pitch. I suspect you are American by the way you worded your question. So to show how stupid this idea is here's some ideas for American sports. How about getting rid of double dribble or travelling in basketball so that the game flows or allows more points or get riding of downs in American Football so that the game can flow and more points are scored quicker. Football/soccer is a game of skill, opportunity and chance. That's why people are more passionate about football than any other sport, because you don't know what is going happen or when the goals are going to come.

Well, it's not really a sport and the girls do need something to do. Ahhh, what the heck get rid of the darn thing no one likes it anyway.
Well, at least some people go it right Football does rule and soccer does suck but, they are not in the same league b/c Football is a real sport and scoccer isn't.

No way! Soccer is a beautiful game. 2nd best sport to Ice Hockey (we just call it hockey in Canada.)
