THEY POWER WENT OUT TODAY , AND NOW MY XBOX WONT COME ON, IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE FUSE BLEW OUT IN IT AND IS IT FIXABLE BY MYSELF???

Same thing happened to me... I took it to the repair and sell shop of these consoles, then they told me that the fuse blew out.
They replace it for a new one and now I'm happy.
They recommended to me that it must be unplugged while isn't in use.

If the Xbox was on at the time that the power went off, and you didn't have it on a surge protected bar then chances are it is fried. That's why I turn my computer off during an electric storm, even though I have it on a surge protected bar.

Sounds like the power box inside the Xbox is blown. Sorry, but it's a gonner.

It probably is the fuse. You probably do not have the tools you need to open it. Invest in a set of hex keys and multiple splines as well as a set of jewelers screwdrivers. DO NOT TOUCH THE LASER!!! or it likely will not work again.

same thing happened to me. It depends, either the mother board circuit got 0wn3D or one of the fuse wires got PizOwned! if its fuse wires u can fix it easily urself. if its motherboard..... R I P
