Bob's Big Boy in Burbank near NBC studios. They still serve food in their drive in diner section and on the weekends they display old cars.

I lived in the Central Valley about 5 years ago. There used to be a place called Fat Jacks... Or maybe just Jack's. I think it was a chain because there was two. I don't know if the girls were on skates, but you did literally drive under a large carport type awning and they brought the food to you.

Good luck

Good luck... I think they've all gone the way of the drive-in theatres. Sonic has pretty much claimed the drive-in business now I reckon, but it's not nearly the same as I remember. There might still be some Mom & Pop type places out there, but they're far and few in-between. It'd be nice to see them make a comeback... especially with the relationship we all have with our automobiles nowadays.

Don't know about CA, but there's the Bluegrass in Ashland, KY, if you ever get this way. No roller skates, but still has car delivery.

Any Sonics there?

as long as they're regionally owned and not in any respect a series, I genuinely love them! And certain, I do love the coach. i love how guy spotlights little out of ways places, and choose I nevertheless had my previous position and be on the coach. the in basic terms aspect i don't like about guy is his seize words, like "it is so funds!" or "it fairly is the money excellent there!" That section receives annoying.
