Truth be told, we are all racists; some folks are just more polite about it. Not just whites fearing blacks but blacks fearing hispanics, hispanics fearing orientals, orientals fearing arabics, and just about everybody fearing Americans regardless of our colors, and so on. It is why people tend to clump in neighborhoods with "their own kind" despite all the equal access laws. I'd say the northwest is the best homogeonized area.

What a lot of people lose sight of is that racial friction is so visible in this country because we are so open and there are so many races here. For all the turmoil, I still think we are getting better: Whenever you can stand up and holler about injustice without too much fear of getting killed for it, there is progress.

They reside in the same place the majority of ignorant people do. I doubt it's been measured.

Why you black? I'm not sure if it has been measured but I do know that there is racist wherever you go, mostly in the south like where the HOODS are at.
