Pier 1 has this new oil that you put reed sticks in and the fragrance just keeps going. When the reeds dry up, you flip them over and let them soak again. I have had my bottle for 2+ months and it is still doing it's job. Bought a # of them as gifts and my friends had great feedback, too!

I have fake flower arrangements around the house and I spray them with a great, but not expensive perfume everyother week. Everytime you walk in the rooms you can smell it. I also spray my stuffed animals, and have flower garland over some windows which I spray, and sometimes spray my curtains. I put fabric softener sheets in my vacumume cleaner bag so when I use it, it smells good. I have potpouri in dishes I spray to refreshen the smell. You can use different smells for different rooms. I even spray my comforter in my bedroom.

I like 2 use a car air freshener called vent they come in a pack of 4. They clip on the vents and when your air/heat comes on you can smell them. I use them in the car and in the house. They last 4ever and they r around $2 at Wall-mart.

Go to your local supermarket and buy some flowers (they can last up to a week), not only will they perfume the house but also add a visual stimulant!!

They do not need to be expensive and they are chemical free, unlike "freshener" and "plug-ins"

i work on industrial a/C's. we use a product we get at a plumbing supply house or a a/c warehouse. you can also get it from you local contractor. it goes in the return air vent so you don't see it. it is a little square about 6/6 inches. made just for a/C's. it costs about 9.00$ and lasts about a year.

Sadly for this you must catch another fairy and smear it around the house. The word smear implies death and yes that is a heavy price to pay for the sweet sweet smell in your house. One thing though. Never let the washing machine fairy know of this.
