Is there a place to do currency exchange at the airport in Manila when you arrive from an international flight? I know there is a place in the international terminal when you are leaving, but I don't remember seeing anything when you arrive.

There are more than 5 currency exchanges in the international termal just outside the arrival areas. There are so many of them the rates are competitive. Best rates are given for new $100's. They will not accept any money that is torn or has any marks on it so make sure your bills are in excellant condition. They also have a tendancy to give you all P1,000 notes unless you tell them otherwise. make sure to get some P100's, 50's and 20's less you jump into a cab and get the "no change routine". Those big peso notes are useless anyplace but the big hotels and shopping malls so get mostly smaller (P500's) and below notes so you can spend your money and get change.

dont worry about it just exchange it at the airport. There are places in manila that do exchange, even at the malls, if you want to do it at the airport, just ask the person that stamps your passport, and tells you how long you can stay, they should be able to tell you.

Yes, there is a place in the airport, but it has a very low exchange rate. I use it only to get enough pesos for sodas and lunch. I use my Visa debit card at the bank. PNB, Philippine National Bank, atms accept them and give a good rate. check your bank to make sure how much they charge and tell them that you will be using it there. Enjoy your trip.

There sure is. Better to do it at the currency exchange booths in town. Or use your ATM card if it can be used internationally.

it is easy, just ask a security guard or even just go to the malls, or a bangko, all banks should exchange money!
