When my fave pen stops working, I run some VERY hot water into a small cup and put the pen in tip first (leave it for at least five minutes). The hot water draws the ink down. Voila! The pen writes again.
However, my sister swears by sucking on the tip of the pen... but I figure that's a good way to end up with ink in your mouth. Blech.

Hold it so that the ink flows towards to point. Try holding a match to the tip very briefly. You may have a piece of paper with no marble dust, which is put on paper to make the point turn.
