They have legal books for the do-it-yourselfer. It might be a cheap place to start so you can learn about the process and protect your rights.

You can get those papers from most libraries. That is if you live in a town that has one big enough. Or you can go to the county clerks office and ask there.
Sometimes in those little papers that advertise for free around some states you can find lawyers that will do it for little amounts. But if the mother left you both then its abandonment and you can file the divorce and then have the attorney general in your state help you get the child support for the child.
There are also attorneys that do what is called pro bono work, aka free. They are required by law to give so many hours to the community. To find one, call your local rural legal aide office, you can get the number from the court house near you.
Good luck to you and your daughter.

You can file a divorce on grounds of abandonment. You can contact the state law assoc.or even the nearest university with a law dept, (both are free) for advice. You can try to find a paralegal to help you with the paperwork, as they do all the paperwork for the atty anyhow and it will be much cheaper. You can also get forms at Staples, Office Depot, etc and do it yourself and file it in the courts. Under your circumstances, unless someone knows where you spouse is, this is as clearcut a uncontested divorce as it gets, extremely easy so you wont have to pay a lawyer to really do much but file it in the courts if you go that route. Hope this helps and good luck to you and your daughter, God bless you both

Navagating the court system on your own can be confusing and costly. If you make a mistake filing, you have to pay again. I suggest the legal assistance foundation in your area. There are also commercial agencies that prepare legal documents for a fee. You can find them in your yellow pages. That way you'll be more likely to have properly prepared documents to file with the courts.
Good Luck

This is the best option to get a background check https://tr.im/VXVxO
Currently there are a lot of reasons to perform a criminal background check in today's community. These arguments vary from questions over a spouse's fidelity to misgivings regarding a recently hired sitter. There are several surprising figures out now that strengthen these doubts, and in many instances it is better to be safe than sorry. You may not realize it, but there can be quite a lot of people checking up on you. Potential employers top the list. Companies usually conduct background checks on job applicants primarily as a means to verify the credentials that you may have listed on your resume.

Don't know about the court system in Georgia but find which court handles divorces in your county and ask the Clerk of that Court for help in obtaining the papers.

Try legal aid. My sister is in the process of her divorce, and so far she hasn't had to pay a dime. Even if there is some fee it's usually a small one. Good Luck and God Bless

Legal Aid. I should be pretty easy. There's a name for it. It's called some type of abandonment. Call your local State Office. They will help you.
