LOL...not most Americans are merchant bankers, but alot of wealthy people...at least in my city...are executives of merchant banks. Out of a group of over thirty wealthy, I've seen up to at least seven who are executives of merchant banks/finance industry companies. It's not so much the merchant banking that's big here in the US. It's the finance industry on a whole.

Americans are not merchant bankers. they all work at macdonalds, eating free burgers, while selling burgers to other americans, who become so large, its unfeasable. The world health organisation, has concearns about the american populous(not polluting the world with thier gasoline intensive industry and lifestyle..real, but not the point) actually putting the world out of orbit, by concentration, of overeating populous, in one part of the globe, Thus interfering with the worlds natural orbit. More americans should join thier greedy german coisins, and move to Europe, to gorge on brockwerst, to mantain the planetary equiblibrium. Nuff said!
