my moms bf is beating her n putin her n the hospital what should i do b4 things get worse?

The bf belongs in jail which is just where the authorities will put him IF you and your mother call the police and tell them what happened. Look in the phone book for your area and see if there is a battered women's shelter. The police or sheriff will know if there is one and where it is located. You and your mom also need counseling very badly. Please ACT.

That is so awful hun. I know you want to help your mom. The first thing that always comes to mind is to call the police. BUT if your mom won't follow through with the charges, it's not going to do any good. She has to be the one to stop him. I know it hurts to see your mom like this, but until she's decided she's had enough, you can't stop it for her. Trust me. I used to be in the same situation. I took it for four years. And then I'd finally had enough. I took both my kids and left his a**. Talk to your mom and tell her how much it bothers you that she's not helping herself. She may feel like she loves this man. But as you can see, he obviously doesn't love her. Black eyes, split lips, broken ribs, arms, and fingers. Does that sound like love? Help your mom to help herself sweetie. you have very little power over this. The only one who can truly stop it is your mom, but she isn't ready. For yourself, people in lots of places around you can help you. It won't be easy to open up to a teacher, friend's parent, or church person but you should. They can help keep an eye on you and maybe encourage her not to put up with this anymore. call the cops and tell them. I went through this for almost 19 years and my sister goes through it, and no person out on this earth was put here to be beat on. Pick up something and use it on them,and let the other person know how it feels to be beat on.

Talk to your mom, if she doesn't want to do anything about it then talk to someone else(maybe call a crisis center) Don't give up until your mom is out of that relationship because it will get worse if she doesn't get out.

you can't stop it, only she can and she better before he kills her. call the police and they can charge him with domestic violence and he can sit his woman beating *** in jail! i am just sorry you have to be a witness to this sort of behavior!! i can't believe he hasn't gone to jail before! i don't know what the reasons are for her staying with him, but whatever they are they are not good enough and never will be to land her in the hospital, that is just insane. she must get away from him and QUICK! without some type of help, he will never stop and that is why she will have to be the one to leave!!! not only for her sake, but for yours also.

You could call the police or better yet, have the hospital report it. Actually they should report it if they know that is what is going on.

You should step up and tell the proper authorities so that it can be taken care of and your mom can get protection from him. Let someone know and try to get her help.
