I wanted to be a doctor, help people. Went through a couple of careers trying to find the easy way out, both unsatisfying. I'm 46 now and back in college full-time, and I'm going to be a doctor!

No I wanted to be a teacher. When I was studying I got a job as a bus aide( ride the school bus for BAD and handicap kids) I saw how the kids have changed since I was in school and changed majors. Now I work at Toys R Us during the day and a custodian at night, so I am "working" in the schools! HA HA

Nope. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a equine (horse) vet. And I meant it with all my little heart.
Now I'm in aviation. It's a far cry from what I had intended as a child. B747's won over the horses.
People I grew up with cannot belive what I am doing when I tell them what I do for a living.
Who'da thunk it?

Yup, I did. But I'll tell ya, it took a lot of detours along the way to actually settle on my dream.

I'm an artist, it's always what I wanted to be.

My son is following his dream right from the start. I've supported him completely so he doesn't have to go through what I did to get to mine.

No. I wanted to be an actress....I tried it briefly, went on an audition once for an agent, and found out I had absolutely no talent, and I'm not kidding!

I'm a secretary. Ho hum. But at least I'll always have a job!

No...I wanted to be taller andI still do but I tend to exaggerate ( just a tiny bit) cos it's easier to say five feet than four feet 11 and 3/4 lol

This was the most annoying question in the world for me. I'm in college right now, studying to be a web designer-which is what I always wanted to be- and people still ask me that! AAARRGH!
