Call some local pawn shops.
Warning, pawn shop owners have no way of knowing if equipment is defective in any way. Ask about return policies and try it out before you buy it. Most pawn shops will let you "test drive."

You can get it at a local pawn shop if you have things like that in your area.I know in N.Y.C you can always get things for dirt cheep. The lowest you would probably pay is $50-$100 tops.
