who played pippi longstocking on the TV show? (Not the cartoon)?

Carrie Kei Heim was Pippi in the 1985 TV movie. She was also in Santa Claus: The Movie and Parent Trap II. She is now a lawyer.

Tami Erin was Pippi in the 1988 "The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking." She left the entertainment industry for a while, but returned to do two projects in 2005.

You didn't want the cartoon, but that was Melissa Altro doing Pippi. She is best known as the voice of Mary Alice "Muffy" Crosswire on the Arthur series on PBS.
