You said it brother, but even natural tobacco can insight a whole load of problems, the worst being carbon monoxide poisoning. NO evidence attributed to smoking marijuanna has suggested either monoxide poisoning or any other symptoms other than maybe lowering the immune system with overuse. The smoke from marijuana is not as toxic as tobacco and wont cause emphysema as effectively . Its a superb painkiller and, well, it relaxes too! It is not chemically addictive, whereas tobacco is particularly if its commercial (they actually load the tobacco with a liquid form of niccotine (proven)).
Put THAT in your hat and smoke it!!

My boyfriend and I were debating this very question recently. Just because marijuana is a natural herb does not mean it's good for you. I recently read that marijuana smoke contains cancer causing agents, just like cigarette smoke does. However, it's in smaller concentrates, but just like cigarettes, continuous marijuana use can lead to damage to the lungs. I read this in a book I got from the library, just cannot remember the name of it!

Cigarettes by far! Marijuana is NOT habit forming, although very dirty, does not effect the body as does nicotine and tar from tabacco. Trust me, tobacco is not nearly as much fun, either. Grass does NOT elevate choleserol, does NOT constrict the circ system, or cause High Blood pressure, I know of no one who has had a heart attack directly attributable to grass. but then again, treat grass as you would alcohol...dont' drive and smoke!
