pictures would be useful.the manual doesn't show enough detail.

Nasty old carb they where, they where forever flooding raw gas spewing all over. They had alot of float problems and the plastic body made thing worse. They make a conversion kit so you can use a different carb try JC Whitney if not find a good OLD chry mechanic to help you. There are not alot left in the world (the carb not the mechanic)

OK, it's a thermaquad. No, they are VERY simple though. Carter's version of the weber. Usually you NEVER have to do anything to them. Just be sure there is an aluminum spacer under the plastic housing because the plastic will melt without it. Good luck.
