I know that I have the most preciuos baby in the world he is the cutest baby alive (except Jesus) But I find my self doing nothing but bragging all the time, I just cant stop. Not only that but he is 2 months old and when he smiles I still get tears in my eyes, I just want to eat him up. Will this bragging ever stop, and this feeling of overwelment when I look at him or hold him, Or have I gone too far?? I wonder if this is a normal feeling or if I went completly bonkers after child birth. I need help!!!!!!!(but seriously he is the cutest.....)

Of course he's the cutest baby alive. You created him. He developed inside of you and he is truly a miracle. You will feel this way for a long time. No matter how old he gets he'll always be your baby. As they get older they can really aggravate you but if you watch him while he's sleeping you'll get that feeling again and you'll wonder how you ever lived without him. Enjoy every minute of his life. He'll grow so fast you won't believe it. My babies have babies of their own now but I've never lost that feeling. Be the best parent you can be because he'll treat his children the way you treated him. It's a wonderful cycle. Have fun.

Actually it is pretty normal. Especially if you are a first time mom. Go on brag away. You did the work, I mean for nine months you carried this little guy why not brag a little bit? It only gets worse by the way my son is now 15 and I really have to keep myself in check because he now has a girlfriend and obviously my gushing is a little over the top. But I can still keep it too myself,so girl this is only the beginning. Congrats.....

Ofcourse this is completely Normal behavior. I am guessing you are a new Mom. well Congrats!!!

All new moms think their baby is the cutest in the world. You sound like a very loving mother. That is soo wonderful that you still get tears in your eyes when your baby smiles.

And Yes, The feeling will end as soon as your child ...stops listening to you, acts up, acts out. You heard of those terrible 2's ....lol. and how about when they are teenagers!

But yes, you are just a proud mommy who has the feeling that every new mom has1

Congrats again.

This will pass. Why?
1) You are breastfeeding him, right? Breastfeeding causes "happy chemicals" to be released in you... Kind of makes you drunk in the brain for a while.
2) You are in the bonding process, which is another bio-chemical effect where you are essentially MADLY IN LOVE with your newborn.
3) Your child will learn the word NO and the words I WANT
4) Your child will enter the social world and you will be able to see by comparison that there are other children with abilities and qualities.
5) Eventually you will realize that you don't have a life anymore because the little darling will dominate every frickin' moment of your life until they are in school.

I think parents brag about their children from the time they are born until the parents are gone. you didn't go bonkers, you are just a proud mommy, nothing wrong with that.
