Yes. But be careful! Real Macedonia is in Greece and not the Slavic-Macedonia which is a different state!
As we all know real Macedonia is a Greek region. Macedon or Macedonia was the name of an ancient Greek kingdom (the birth place of Alexander the Great) in the northern-most part of ancient Greece, bordering the kingdom of Epirus on the west and the region of Thrace to the east.
Alexander the Great build a gigantic Greek empire that expanded from Greece all the way to India! Roughly 3 million Greeks call themselves real Macedonians.
There is also a small state that emerged from Yugoslavia which is called republic of Makedonija. That state is uses (some times) as international name the Greek name Macedonia and that cause a lot of confusion between the two regions!
I have to mention though that the government of Slavic-Macedonia has clearly stated it that it has no connection with Greek Macedonia and Alexander the Great.

I agree with "cosmos"!
Macedonia is not Greek!
Greece without Macedonia is not Greece, as a person with no head or different body is not the same any more!
Hence, Macedonia is Greece, not Greek!

Hello dear!
Sorry, but I disagree with you! Macedonia is not Greek!
As other regions (Crete, Peloponnese, etc.) are not Greek, but Greece, so is Thrace, islands, ... and Macedonia!
Macedonia, therefore is Greece, not Greek! You understand the difference, I presume!
Enjoy!
