My opinion is John Elway. Mel Kiper of ESPN agrees and even says he's the best player to ever play.

Nice on the Steve Young vote. No more Brett Favre votes, he's not even top 5.

I'm a Packer fan and might be a little biased, but I have to say Brett Favre. The only QB I know of that STILL played with a broken thumb! And the fact that his life has been tormented by one disaster after another, he still got up, put on his best game face and kicked butt! That poor man lost his father, and his brother in the same month, then his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. In my book, he's the overall best QB. He got back up when he was down.

I think its between Montana, Elway and I know its premature and Im not even a Patriots fan but Im still shocked at some of the things that Tom Brady has done in his career already. Im also a big Steve Young fan. He kind of revolutionized scrambling for qbs. I do think if Peyton Manning were to win even one Super Bowl most people are gonna include him in this debate if he keeps up at this pace.

Brett Favre of course!! He's the true "Iron Man" of the NFL. Not to mention he has a cannon arm. If he had some better receivers he would still be having seasons like he's had in the past. He's a great player, but football is still a team sport.

Joe Montana. It took John Elway 'till he was 100 to win a super bowl.

Dan Marino is the best passing QB of all time. It is a shame that the Dolphins never put a team around him that could play. Duper and Clayton were average recievers until Marino started playing and they never had a decent RB. Everyone knew he was passing and he still beat them.

Elway had good running backs most of his career. The wide recievers that Montana had were all great. Marino did it with less talent around him.
