I've been RICH and I've been POOR.
Rich is better.

Money will get you 9 out of 10 things in this world.
9 out of 10 is much better than 1 out of 10.

Money can and will bring you happiness!
It will never make you sad by itself!

The people who think money buys happiness are the ones who are up to their asses in debt. Money makes life easier, but not better, and I think this is one of the major issues that should be addressed to the youth of america- that money isn't happy, and that it is the root of all evil... May I paste Pink Floyd?

Money
(Waters)

Money, get away.
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay.
Money, it's a gas.
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash.
New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think I'll buy me a football team.

Money, get back.
I'm all right Jack keep your hands off of my stack.
Money, it's a hit.
Don't give me that do goody good bullshit.
I'm in the high-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a Lear jet.

Money, it's a crime.
Share it fairly but don't take a slice of my pie.
Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil today.
But if you ask for a raise it's no surprise that they're
giving none away.

People who have always had money will say NO It doesnt as they dont know what its like to have none.. agree with you there!

I dont necessarily think money buys you happy, however it sure as hell would make things alot easier! And if I could buy the things that would make me happy.. then yeah the money hasnt made me happy lol but I can now afford things TOO make me happy! I know personally that if I won a million bucks I would be over the moon with happiness!

Money might not buy me happiness, but it sure would buy me security and peace of mind. Every person in the world wants the same things. Shelter, food and safety. Only once these basic needs have been met can people pursue something other than survival. So money might not buy happiness but it is a step in the right direction

there is not any afterlife. Heaven is what you're making it, hell is what you go by to get there. Happiness isn't on the marketplace everywhere on the information superhighway or on the mall. I checked. I stated something about that be taught too. The make certain of $seventy 5,000 being the decrease of added funds meaning extra happiness is merely an accepted. there are distinct aspects that reason happiness. what's significant to carry close is that it is all on your recommendations. questioning that funds brings happiness is defective, merely as questioning extra food or pets carry extra happiness is defective. sturdy success figuring some issues out. The extra you want the happier you'd be.

lets face it folks..... if more money truly brought more problems, then it would be as simple as getting rid of the money to reducing your problems. do even 1 in 1000 people get rid of their money, with the intent being to make their life easier, AND succeed in doing so? come on..... the people that say more = more problems are just going to find something wrong with their life no matter how much they have going right. i have never heard of someone like bill gates losing it all, & being happier because of it..... how it cured all his problems (or even any of them). i can tell you though, if i had only 1 millionth of his money, i'd be considerably happier than i am now.

I don't think money actually buys happiness. But I do think it helps you reach a level of happiness. Not to say you need to be a billionare to be happy. But you need to be able to pay your bills and still have money to live in order to be happy

Money will not by happiness, but it will buy one heck of a substitute. I also bet that you're a lot more likely to be unhappy if you're poor than if you're rich.
