Overall, NOTHING, depending upon the exact brand that you are taking and considering that once a women finds out she's pregnant she stops taking them...But should a women continue to take BCP while she is pregnant and should she be carrying a girl the baby could be born with ambiguous gender...It has to do with the excess hormones

It would be good to know what kind of pill are you on. If they are the progestin only pills, probably nothing, as progesterone is the pregnancy hormone, anyway. If you are on the combined estrogen-progestin pill, some of the pogestin types in those pills do have either androgenic or anti-androgenic efects (that is, similar or contrary to male hormones). That could interfere in the developing of either a female or male foetus. Anyway, if you're pregnant or think you are, you should see a doctor asap, and stop taking ANY medication that is not vital for you. If you are looking for any particular efect (like carrying your baby longer), this is not the way, and you should talk to a doctor about whatever doubts you have

Not knowing that I was pregnant, I kept taking my oral contraceptive, for a month, and there was nothing wrong with my baby. But I think it's just too much hormone for the baby. That's all

If you're pregnant then oral contraceptives apparently aren't needed anymore. It may not be a good idea to take them anyway.

Considering that you are supposed to stop taking them as soon as you find out...they can probably cause miscarriage, low birth weight, preterm birth.
