All those terrible things you are feeling are the wildly fluctuating hormones in your body. They will smooth out by the end of the first trimester, and your second semester will be much different, increased energy and increased sex drive! However, if you continue to feel really bad, your ankles are swollen and your blood pressure is up, contact your OB/GYN. Spend the time getting some extra rest if you can, and take it easy on yourself.

I feel for you, I have been there, food would not stay down, but after the first 3 months it got a lot better, just hang in there girl, and try eating crackers, they do seem to help.

The first part of pregnancy has your body forming your baby's body and blood; It's like you are feeding a parasite, for lack of a better term to describe it. eat good balanced diet of good-for-you foods and take your prenatal vitamins, you'll feel better. the first three months are the worst (at least with the food/nausea thing). Hang in there, and be sure you let your doctor know what you are struggling with, they should have good suggestions that will make you more comfortable through all this.
