"Sharing" music the way most people do it is stealing and it is illegal. It's OK to send someone a song now and then, I think, to see what they think of it if they hadn't heard it before. But if the other person keeps the music around and listens to it regularly without paying for it, that's piracy.

Well if it's a site like Limewire than I think it's fine. They're services are free and I'm sure it's okay for you to share it with your friends. But for the benefit for you and the company I think you should refer your friend so she would able to "own" her own music files. Theirs nothing wrong sharing. I share my ringtones with my friend using blue-tooth. It benefits her a lot 'cause she doesn't have to purchase them. I do, and then share with her with our blue-tooth phones. She doesn't have to get it through the company if it's easier for her to receive them through me. But I did tell her she needs to find some type of plan now. It's still cool though. But let me know how you doing this "sharing files" thing. Be very specific when you have time.

Hmm... if you paid for the music, you should be able to do what you want with it. Thats kind of like me burning a CD with songs that I paid for then giving it to my friend who gives it to someone else, and so on and so on. Thats why sharing music is such a grey area.

sharing music is good, it gets you into different bands that you might not have listened to in the first place. If you end up liking the band you may end up buying the music, merchandise, concerts tickets etc. they make the money up in other ways!
Can you put a monetary figure on that?

For me, environment makes song severe. no longer technicalities as plenty, till i'm listening to jazz or classical, romantic, or baroque. With metallic in specific, the ambience could be created in some distinctive methods. Keyboard melodies, guitar melodies, or interior the rhythm area. that is somewhat have been given much less to do with technical ability and greater to do with the musical shape of a song. case in point, virtually any Therion song from their album Theli i come across to be severe. I additionally discover intensity in Chopin's Nocturne, as properly as in Mayhem's Freezing Moon. dying metallic has fairly plenty no environment to it till you're finding at a band like Nile or Vader. Metalcore is a bastardization of the organic technicality that dying metallic many times is. Metalcore is in fact a macho, dick-waving contest for infants who think of they are able to in basic terms p.c.. up an tool and be a rock famous individual on the instant. have self belief me, i be conscious of what i'm speaking approximately, i've got actual labored first hand with those dumbasses. BQ: maximum "severe" song? How does this observe fluctuate from "severe" with regard to song, on your view? maximum severe could in all probability be black metallic. intensity keeps you usual and involved. Extremity keeps you usual and involved, yet feeling uncomfortable. maximum folk can neither understand black metallic, nor determine the thank you to jot down it. Culto from Darkthrone says that the version he and Fenriz had between Soulside adventure and their following albums is the transition that they took from dying to black metallic. As an instantaneous quote from Culto, "Black metallic replaced into some thing distinctive. We had to truly think of with a view to jot down it. it somewhat is unlike dying metallic the place you are able to only string heavy, thrashy riffs jointly. you're able to desire to think of roughly what you're doing, and in spite of if it would not sound thoroughly customary you're able to desire to be keen to aim it, and be conscious of that what you're doing is intentional."
