This year I want to start a new leaf. I AM going to be confedent and proudly set but I dont know whether to have a lot of guy friends, be loud [not noisy...like being out there] and happy, be totaly chilled, and be skater [Ashley Simpson?]or be quiet, kinda girlie, cute for you guys, a "model" for the girls, but still be friendly, and characterized. [maybe Hilary Duff?] Anyway: HHELLPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [sry if this is the totaly wrong catagory...I had no clue!]

Be yourself, if you're not it will soon start to show and others will make fun of you. You can not be someone else very long and the emotional strain will get to you. You will soon not know who you are. If you are not being yourself people will like who they think you are and not the real you. That can never be a lasting relationship (the kind of friend that you want to keep forever).Guys want girls who are confident in themselves. Just do what comes naturally in any situation if you are not sure who you are yet. Be happy, happiness breeds happiness is others and people like being around happy people.

People will tell you to "Be Yourself" and you might have a little trouble knowing just how 'yourself' is yet, because you're still fairly young--as human lives go.
So, I will say this: It is true you should 'be yourself,' and if you aren't sure which 'yourself' you would like to be, think about these things
1. When are you the happiest, when you're being more forward or more quiet? (Pick the one you're most comfortable with, because that's probably the real 'yourself,' for now, anyway.)
2. When are you the most creative...?
3. After behaving which way do you feel the best about it later?--after the day is over and you are alone thinking about the day.
4. What kind of woman--grown woman--do you admire the most?
5. And what kind of woman do you picture yourself to be at 32 years old? More forward or more quiet? (Yes. If you live long enough, you WILL be 32).
Pick the kind of person you think most highly of and are most comfortable being. Don't pretend to be outgoing if you don't like being outgoing. But don't pretend to be shy if you are not shy. Don't play at being anybody--like famous. Act like who you really are. And if there's something about you, you really don't admire, change it and become how you should be. You really don't want to be like someone else anyway, because then you would be unnecessary on this planet, wouldn't you?
That's how you 'be yourself.'

Firstly, it's "turn over a new leaf", not "start a new leaf".
Secondly, no self-respecting guy would be attracted to talentless pseudo-celebs i.e. Ashley Simpson, Hillary Duff so don't model yourself after them.
Thirdly, you'll find out it's impossible to be someone you're not. It's good to try new things but don't force yourself.

Get baller shoes that no-one else has, that is complicated to discover via fact human beings are good at finding baller shoes. At my highschool with 1500 human beings I actual have been given shoes that no-one else and all human beings is like Phred! your shoes are so baller! So curiously such as you % a similar shoes I actual have bro, I actual have been given Nike SB dunks. they arrive in alot of hues and you gets them on line on the nike internet website basically seek for nike Sb dunks on google! P.S greater women will desire to make desire to you

If you are trying to be like other people to impress them, then you are not being true to yourself. I would encourage you to be whatever it is you want (hopefully positive, outgoing, and ambitious), remember, positive people usually attract other positive people, nobody wants to be around a killjoy. It sounds like you are questioning your self esteem, if people don't like you for who you are, they are not worth it then. You don't have to impress anyone, you will impress who you need to by being true to you, there is no need to sacrifice your sense of self for others.
