what works best?...the MAC makeup or Mary Kay?????...i am a light skinned Black woman with an olive to tan tone in my skin ..........and looking for a good foundation......

Definitely MAC. I tried their "Studio Fix" and "Moisture Blend" foundations and love 'em! They have lots of shades for different skin types. I've used Mary Kay foundation before but it clogged my pores and made me break out. My sister said the same thing happened to her when she used it.

I love MAC for the eye shadows and liners, but Mary Kay has the best foundation. I don't use either of their mascaras because I always get a reaction from them. I like L'Oreal mascara and lip liners.

I don't wear make up on a regular basis but, when I do I put on MAC!!!! Mary Kay is for old ladies. Get MAC and work it.

Definately Mary Kay, they have the #1 rated color line in the country. There are so many ways that you can get your makeup customized through them so that you have the color that works best for you. You have the website! You should definately look into it.

If those are the only choices, go for the MAC, but you may not be able to find the right shade with them. If not, check with Bobbi Brown, which is usually in the same department store, or Ben Nye, which is a theatrical company and has dealers in most major cities.

Mac is good for STAY PUT.
Its professional make-up and it was originally used for photo shoots and movie make-up.
I've never used mary kay.. but I swear by mac. They're eyeliner is awesome and they have the best colors!
