I want to learn to knit does anyone nave any good tips or books I could learn from?

Some people do well with written instructions and illustrations, and others learn better by watching someone else.

Knitting is fun. There has been a big revival of knitting in the US. I don't know where you are, but I've included a few websites that teach knitting. You might find a knitting group in your community that teaches knitting. It's pretty easy and fun...and great for hand made gifts. Good luck!
