I just read a question by a person who wants to discriminate against people (they are the land lord of an apartment building) because of their political beliefs (they don't want to rent to Republicans) and on top of that one of the answers actually said (his words not mine) "it is still a free country unfortunately” Boy good thing the Dems are there protecting people's rights!

Okay I get it this isn't the entire Democrat party saying that Republicians should not be able to rent apartments but this one really shocked me. Both the question and the answer.

You should learn that labeling people especially in a political way is not an efficient method of identifying them. I have never seen our country so bitterly divided with so much name calling - Dem's, Repubs, liberals, neo-cons - none of these labels really means much.

I believe that there are less than 99.9% of Americans who "Hate Freedom" or want to destroy our country. You don't have to like G.W. Bush to love your country. And anyone who speaks out against the military force being used in Iraq, warrant less wiretaps, that publishing information that was previously discussed in a State of the Union address in a newspaper or people who question or criticize the government aren't automatically guilty of treason.

It would be wonderul if people would learn what rights and personal freedom they are guaranteed under the U.S.Constitution and through the Bill of Rights before they call someone they don't agree with names. I learned a long time ago to appreciate the right to free speech and that if I didn't agree with someone that I would just have to accept that they are also guaranteed free speech.

It makes me heartsick that people are arguing over whether Dem's hate freedom or are traitors when there are real problems in this country - there are millions of people who don't have health insurance or jobs and poverty still exists in the richest nation on earth, and the aftermath from Hurricane Katrina hasn't magically disappeared or gotten better. I hope and pray that the majority of people our country will wake up and realize that we need to come together and let our elected officials know we expect that they work to make things better for all Americans by voting against the ones who have proved they aren't worthy of the job. Until then I have little hope that the real problems will get the attention they deserve instead of arguing about who is better Dems' or Repubs?

The democrats have left their party in the hands of socialist and bona fide communist activists. The general run of the mill democrats are blissfully unaware of this fault in the party leadership, but many are very aware activists - like maybe that landlord.

No, the democrats are not about freedom. They are about group-think mentality and the destruction of the American way of life - at least the leadership of the party is. All you democrats, I ask you to read the reference book written by a liberal about the party. It's a real eye-opener!

Ethan, you need to go back and watch faux news, get some new material, this stuff is getting old. Democrats and repuglcans alike are at odds these days and the pendulum swings both ways. I have been told to move to another country, and to just die, and many other awful things by right wing idiots. So it is not the party but the individual that is screwed. Both sides.

As I bear in mind, maximum individuals were adverse to the warfare because they felt it became unnecessary, no longer because they needed Saddam to stay in skill. you're making issues up and throwing pretend generalizations obtainable. it truly is very dishonest. Secondly, the GOP has no room to communicate. If freedom from oppression is one of those extreme priority for the Republican celebration, why did not we bypass into Darfur first? they'd an genuinely GENOCIDE taking position, yet no protection rigidity intervention there? And yet you're going to lecture human beings in this issue? ultimately, neither celebration has had an truly good music of promoting freedom in this usa over the perfect couple of many years, your celebration blanketed. some factors of social conservatism are not from now on in step with liberty. gay marriage is an effective celebration of that. Civil marriage is a freelance, a legally-binding contract between 2 consenting adults. Your celebration seeks to circumvent homosexuals from entering into such an contract with one yet another, yet you have not got any criminal foundation on your position. it truly isn't any longer very "professional-freedom" in case you question me.

Wow incredible point you made, some question by some person claiming to be a democrat says something contradictory.

Oh my god, How could I possibly be in favor of making sure all americans get health insurance in the face of such overwhelming hypocracy by that one person answering that one question.

You're a genius. Keep up the good work.

Yes, Ethan...

One stupid statement from one stupid duck and you generalize a whole political party.

Here ya' go....

ALL DEMOCRATS HATE TO RENT TO REPUBLICANS.

Happy now?

...hey, are you, like, one of those Hall Monitors in elementary school who ran around looking for people to report?
You're reporting people all the time.

Sounds like you have control issues.
