I'm sure you saw the movie. Don't you think Val Kilmer did a great job as Jim Morrison? What a tragic end to such a short life though. He was really messed up!

I do!!! My all time favorite group!! The book "No One Here Gets Out Alive" is a good one....goes into a lot of reasons why the men were the way they were. Jim Morrison was so underestimated as a poet and songwriter. Makes me wonder how far he would have gone if he hadn't OD'd so young.

I Like the Doors. My favorite song by them is "When The Music's Over" but my favorite album by them is LA Woman. In general, I like their bluesy stuff better than the more poetry based stuff.

Yes I've been a fan since 1967 and I actually have all of the original recordings in the original vinyl LP format. I'm really old!

a better question should be, "who doesn't know the doors or hates them?"
one of the greatest bands ever. nobody should be without a the doors album. at least one.
