Blackheads?

How long can blackheads last if you never get it cleaned out?

Ohh, thanks everyone. I`m pretty that black thing on my nose was a blackhead that never got cleared out.. People were telling me it might be skin cancer or something and I got freaked out. >_>

You have to take them out if you leave them in for too long they even turn into sists, trust me I know , so common sense whenever you get them, take them out as soon as you can, your doctor will actually even do it for you if its that big of a problem and it doesnt hurt.

you should clean them out once in a while or they can turn into larger more noticable ones
usually people with blackheads have them all their lives (not one continuous one, but they have blackheads on their faces all the time)
their are many masks and scrubs out there that can help clean them out and prevent new ones from forming. blackheads form when your pours get clogged with dirt, grease, etc.
some good brans are clean and clear, biore, and clearasil. i personally use clean and clear blackhead clearing scrub which seems to work well. another good thing are facial cleansing towels or cloths, in which dove is a good brand to use.
