I believe in knowing who you are talking to. But how come no one likes to write about themselves? If you read my profile (go ahead, I'll wait lol), you will see that I like for people to know who I am. But how come some people don't?

I am not a stalker. I just like to know who I am talking to and like for people to know who they are talking to also. I write about myself so you know I am not a stalker or someone I am not.

I think a lot of people just don't think about it. I know I forget about it a lot.

you can't know who you are talking to on the internet. you may have invented your whole profile and i would never know, so i simply can't invest that much trust in your introduction. perhaps that is just me, but i do think manners on the internet are different.

in place of introductions, what i choose to do is to not tailor my words to a character. everything i say i believe, and i think every answer i give is the best i can construct. so if people can't know that i'm *me*, they will just have to learn to like me from my opinions and statements.

which is how we find our friends anyway. i tend to be very outgoing, but my friends are people who like *me* and all that that entails. not just the me i hope they will recognize.

good question. also be careful with what you share... most employers google you when you apply for a job. i wouldn't show up to a job interview in my skivvies; think about what you want to leave hanging out ;)

How do I know that what you write about yourself is true? Personally I don't care. Be whoever you want. I won't read it anyway.
I prefer my anonimity. You can tell all I want you to know about me by reading the things I write here. If that isn't enough for you, make somethings up! I won't be offended.

Well dear it is really not safe to do that, I unstand that you want peoplw to know who you are and that you are a kind sweet person.
One thing though when you are doing this be sure not to give out to much information that they don't need to know.
Thank care dear

I don't trust the internet. Strangers need not to know who I am. Not here to make friends either, so why bother?

I do not care about my profile. If others care about theirs, fine by me.

If you want to figure me out, or get to know me, read my Q & A. :-))
