Actually, yes, the fingers painted to resemble people were a part of it but I was thinking of something a bit more specific.

That show rocked! Oh wait, which show? He had two. One about current music, the other was a game show. The game show had video clips of people talking about a subject without identifying it then the players had to guess what they were talking about.... kind of like reading some of the questions here.

I watched it when I was a kid not sure I remember. Play a trumpet? Not sure. It was the first place I saw The Mama's N The Papa's and sonny and Cher.
