It seems that women change best friends left and right. Is it because women are more emotional? Women let me know what you think.

I think it's because women (in general) are too competitive and catty with each other!

Why Do Women Go Through Men Like Used Up Old Shoes?

What are you talking about? Women love shoes! I don't think it is a matter that we are more emotional but rather we are more comfortable expressing and showing our emotions. I cannot personally attest to 'changing best friends left and right' but I would imagine each person's current place in life would heavily affect their idea of a best friend. Those that have a best friend since childhood are to be envied.

I've had the same best friend for years,My Mom..I really don't have to many female friends seems like the males understand more these days where the women they get to involved in others lives when they have problems of there own and they try to reflect there life on yours and that causes problems..

Actually, everybody treats their friends like shoes. It just so happens that men wear their shoes for a long, long time. Women buy a pair of shoes to wear maybe once, and toss 'em in the closet. Men will have 4, maybe 5 pairs; women 300-600. Can you blame them for cycling through?

Because We (Im a woman) cant trust anyone, we "pretend" to trust others...but really we dont. We like to keep a fresh friend on deck. Our emotions do play a huge role, that and women hold grudges much longer. My fiance and his best friend got into a fist fight one night and were talking about children the next. Men forgive and forget. Women dwell on issues and we feel scorned for a long time. Im holding a grudge agaist a girl I went to school with three years ago...........Over a Government test.......We dont forgive as well.

Well, I don't think that's true

Me? I have a group of best friends. This is when I met them, and I've been best friends with them since...

Kindergarten
First Grade
Third Grade
Sixth Grade

My roommate I've known since freshman year. I don't go through best friends a lot. As a matter of fact, I HATE to lose friends.

This what I have to embark upon that question.......
Avoid outshining your superiors. All victories breed hate, and that over
your superior is foolish or fatal. Preeminence is always detested, especially
over those who are in high positions. Caution can gloss over common advantages.
For example, good looks may be cloaked by careless attire. There are some that
will grant you superiority in good luck or in good temper, but none in good
sense, least of all a prince - for good sense is a royal prerogative and any
claim of superiority in that is a crime against majesty. They are princes, and
wish to be so in that most princely of qualities. They will allow someone to
help them but not to surpass them. So make any advice given to them appear
like a recollection of something they have only forgotten rather than as a guide
to something they cannot find. The stars teach us this finesse with happy tact:
though they woman and brilliant like her, they never rival the
brilliance of the sun.

Because they know nothing of loyalty and the second thier "friends" start becoming anything other than an asset, they toss them aside so they don' t hinder thier situation. A lot of women (people in general, but mainly women) are very selfish.

I don't. I only have 2 or 3 close friends and I've had them for over 11 years. I don't like to hang out with new people, and I don't pretend to make friends easily. That's just the way I am.
