Almost all of my male friends are gay. I think it's because I can trust them. I trust that they will never try to take advantage of me or turn our relationship into anything other than friends. I'm married now, so my husband feels better knowing that I'm hanging out with people who he doesn't have to worry will try something with me.
My gay friends give me the kind of friendship I get with my girlfriends, but they also still have a lot of the same male companionship qualities that straight men have. They are manlier than women (well, some of them) and they do still understand things from a male perspective. It's like a total package. Someone you can shop with and gossip with, but also someone with the strength of a male. :o)

Exactly, they are like a girlfriend without the cat fights. I never am in real competion with any of them because they like GAY men, oh yeah and I'm married to a real hotty (most gay guys drool over him, but they know better) Best wishes

I love gay men.. I am currently looking for a gay husband. We can go shopping together, and go to fabulous clubs, and stay up late and watch Sex and City on DVD. He would also not have any problem with me sleeping with other men. Now that's the key to a successful marriage..

Because we all love to live up to our stereotypes. I love ALL guys from Ireland because their all dark haired with blue eyes and love their moms. I love ALL girls from Iceland, because their all small and weird and sing like bjork. I love both these 'types' coz im like part Russian immigrant living in post Communism berlin, part lower east side ex immigrant hanging out with keyboard money mark and nick zinner from the yeah yeah yeahs, part Austin Texas.

They are brutally honest, in my experience. And, you don't get all that cattiness like you would from girlfriends when they are jealous for some reason or another. Share the love!

there fun to hang out with, they understand you, and plus they might have some good fashion sense. and i like them because they won't try to flirt with you, and it doesn't matter if there gay, long as they don't be mean, i like nice, honest people.
