An embryonic stem cell is one cell that is not differentiated (it isn't assigned a specific function).
A fetus is many cells that are more differentiated.
A child is very many cells that are very differentiated.
An adult human being is billions of cells that are precisely differentiated.
There is no difference between the genetic makeup of the embryonic stem cell and the resulting adult, but the protein contents of differentiated cells are very different from embryonic stem cells.

Well, there are a number of highly differentiated systems that tie into a kind of "seamless whole." You got your circulatory- respiratory, digestive, skeletal - muscular, glandular - endocrine, lymphatic - immune, cerebral - nervous, and dermatological subsystems all tied into one nifty package that would work really well if people didn't abuse their bodies from the "get-go!"
So, ah, why do you ask? Are YOU having a love affair with a glib, suave, & debonair "stemcell?" Those stem cells will tell you anything to have their way with you! Oh, they'll SAY they can do anything with the right "genetic code" planted inside and properly "turned on," but where are they when the bills need to be paid!!! Still, love is blind, and if you are too, then I suppose the prospect of growing "new eyes" is just to tempting a proposition for you to pass up! Whatever... just be careful... relationships like these always wind up with someone "growing wings" and then "flying the coup!" Forwarned is best... but go ahead & hang out for the "new eyes" with 20/20 vision... the omly crying YOU'LL be doing is tears of joy! Good Luck with that!
