They aren't your Friend. If you tell someone a secret or ask them a question and they don't tell you the truth.A true friend will tell you the truth, no matter how it hurts, because they know it's for the best to be honest. The Friend will love you enough to ally be there for you. If this person doesn't fit this criteria, they aren't your friend.

i think friends lie to impress their friends. I am having a situation like that with my friend right now at the moment. He constantly lies and act like he knows whats going on just to impress people and it sure doesn't impress me.

Those are not consider as a friend. Friends don't lie because they are trusted. That's why we call them friend for we trust them.

Do they lie to you or other people. If they lie to you in a little joking way their probelly teasing you but if its in a big way Their probelly not even your friends or at least u consider them as your friends

If a friend lie,the reason is that he wants to protect you.If the reason is not that,this one is not a true friend.
