ok well my eyebrows are kinda thick and straight and uneven and i hate them! the arched part has less hair than the rest of the eyebrow. i want them shaped, like arched more..and i wanna get them waxed for the first time but im scared. you just go to the nail place and ask them? will they know what to do? are you supposed to close your eyes? someone helpppp i need advice...

The first time I had it done, I had tears rolling down my face, wearing sucky non-water proof eye liner, so it got in my eyes and stung. LoL that was the worst part of the whole experience for me. Just don't wear sucky eye liner and you will be jusssssssssst fine! Just make sure you get it done at least once every 2 weeks. Just go in there, tell them you need your brows waxed, she will make you sit in one of those comfy reclining chairs, she'll probably let you pick out the shape that you want waxed, and it will most likely be a peice of cardboard looking thing. She'll put it on your eye brow, take a little popcicle stick looking thing, rub it on there, put some of this cloth stuff on the wax, and she might say "Take a deep breath" AND THEN BAM!! It will be over! And I usually close my eyes.

My advice on eyebrow waxing is if you are bushy, by all means have them waxed and keep them waxed.As far as closing your eyes you can,while it is being done.Yes it does hurt,it is very painful.I always grip the arm of the chair with both of my hands when they start to pull the tape off it helps.Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I hope I didn't scare you to bad.

If you hate em so much, get it done. The first time will hurt, since you've never waxed before. but yes, find a beauty shop. They will ask you to lie down and close your eyes. it doesn't take that long. Maybe 5-7 min.

Eyebrow tweezing is not painful until you get down towards the lid rather than the brow. Upper lip tweezing is painful! Friends say they prefer waxing because it is all done at once.

Just don't go to Sephora or any place that'll use a standard stencil on you to determine the shape. I got mine done their, and my brows looked nice, but weren't perfect for my face. After letting them grow out a little, I began tweezing for myself, and my brows are great. Bottom line: go to a specialist that will customize the shape and arch for you, and tend to it yourself after that with some tweezers.

yes u need to wax ur eyebrows, go to a salon, it will hurt at first and u'll get used it, leave ur eyes open and u can tweeze ur eyebrows every week to keep them shaped but for the first time do it in salon, tweeze every week and go to salon to do waxing every 3/4 months

Yeah you should. You can go to some hair salons too and get it done. Close your eyes and its not that bad. I just got mine done for the millionth time today

Yes, they will know what to do. Ive had it done & its not too bad. Not something Id get done on a regular basis. But theres nothing to worry about. They know what they are doing.
